ShatterGARD and its subsidiary, Global Security Experts Inc. renowned leaders in glass protection technology, proudly announce their donation of 50 additional VehicleGARD® glass protection kits to equip US military Humvees in Iraq. These kits, specifically designed for easy “peel and stick” self-installation, will be shipped directly to troops. Each kit includes instructional videotapes and application tools to facilitate the installation process. ShatterGARD’s extensive database includes glass dimensions of nearly every US military vehicle, ensuring swift and accurate installation of the film even in harsh and challenging environments. Currently, VehicleGARD® is already applied to over 5,000 military vehicles in Iraq, Kuwait, and Afghanistan.

During a recent question-and-answer session with National Guard and Reserve troops, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld faced a soldier’s difficult question about the lack of available armor for their Humvees in use in Iraq. The soldier expressed frustration at having to scavenge through local landfills for scrap metal to protect their vehicles. Rumsfeld responded, “You go to war with the Army you have, not the Army you might want or wish to have.”

President Bush, acknowledging the troops’ need for the best possible equipment, stated, “We expect our troops to have the best possible equipment.” He emphasized that soldiers “deserve the best” and assured that equipment concerns would be addressed. This exchange highlighted the urgent requirement for VehicleGARD® glass security film and its life-saving benefits.

VehicleGARD® security film is directly applied to the glass surfaces of the vehicle, significantly reinforcing their strength. In the event of a bomb blast, the film helps hold shattered glass together, greatly reducing the risk of passenger injuries. VehicleGARD® represents the latest generation of widely accepted window protection films extensively used in the military and law enforcement industry.

Jordan Frankel, Vice President of ShatterGARD, a subsidiary of Global Security Experts Inc, Inc., emphasized their commitment to ensuring the safety and security of soldiers. He mentioned numerous instances where their VehicleGARD® glass protection film has saved lives and prevented glass-related injuries in combat zones. Frankel expressed that this donation is ShatterGARD’s way of expressing gratitude to the men and women diligently serving the nation during the holiday season.
